Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment

We undertook the Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment for the proposed Proper Job CIC Recycling Resources Centre, Chagford, located within Dartmoor National Park.

The project involved the assessment of the impacts of the new building on 36 viewpoints within  a 5km radius of the site.  We prepared photomontages summarising the impacts for each of the viewpoints.

We have extensive experience of carrying out LVIAs in accordance with the latest best practice guidance prepared by the Landscape Institute and IEMA. We have expertise in a broad range of locations, including within designated landscapes such as National Parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We have carried out LIVA for proposals that range from single residential houses to new settlements and for a range of other  proposals including roads, retail park, distribution and recreational  developments across the south and south west of England.
